Legal Drinking Age and Going Out in Florida Under 21

Familiarize yourself with some basic laws if you are planning a vacation and staying in Miami Beach lodging. In the United States, and specifically in Florida, you cannot purchase and consume alcohol if you are under 21 years of age. It is considered a criminal offense if you are caught buying or consuming alcohol and you are under the age of 21, the Miami legal age to drink alcohol and go out.

Because of this, adults under 21 years of age, the Miami legal age to drink alcohol and go out,  are not allowed in bars and nightclubs. Those who are underage may prefer to hang out in their Miami Beach lodging. However, a few places allow you in with an “18 to party, 21 to drink” policy some nights. Some others may allow women 18 and over and men 21 and over. If you plan to drink, you must be of the Miami legal age to drink alcohol and go out. Enjoy your Miami Beach lodging and your time in Miami.
