About the Miami area:

Miami is an international playground that attracts more foreign visitors than any other place in the U.S. Miami has an eclectic blend of art, music, food, sports and other attractions. You can dine at a different restaurant every night and sample French, Italian, or Cuban cooking.

It is also the only subtropical region of the United States, other than Hawaii. Expect to see exotic plants and flowers, such as the colorful Bird of Paradise and giant Banyan trees. For fun in the sun, head to the beaches of Virginia Key or Key Biscayne. You can swim, windsurf, fish, search for shells or do nothing at all except sit back on the soft sand and watch the ocean. Just a sampling of other places to visit in the city include the Miami Metrozoo, Miami Museum of Science & Space Transit, Miami Seaquarium, the Ancient Spanish Monastery, Coral Gables, and Little Havana.

The spectacular Everglades are just to the west of Miami. For nightlife, there are the lounges, nightclubs and dance clubs for adults and kid friendly places where Mom and Dad can enjoy a drink while the kids dance to live music. When you visit Miami you’ll experience a city unlike any other in the U.S.
