Distances from Miami Beach to other fun cities in Florida

Everyone knows that Miami Beach is where the fun and excitement is but it’s not the main reason Florida is a year-round tourist destination. There are other interesting and fun cities to visit throughout Florida mainly located at the Southern end of the peninsula. These cities offer something for everyone including theme parks, beaches, nightclubs and sporting events. Nothing can compare to the magic of Miami but there are some unique cities in Florida, each very different from the next, that have a great deal to offer those that visit.

Miami Beach to Fort Lauderdale
Distance: 29 miles
Driving Time: 35-40 minutes
Just north of Miami Beach, in Fort Lauderdale you will find some great nightlife and excellent dining and shopping.

Miami Beach to West Palm Beach
Distance: 72 miles
Driving Time: 1 hour, 25 minutes
Head up the east coast right on up to West Palm Beach, which has a bit of everything – dining, beaches, shopping. You cannot go wrong!

Miami to Key West
Distance: 165 miles
Driving Time: 3 hours, 35 minutes
The drive may encroach 4 hours with traffic and the like, but drive itself is almost as pleasurable as the destination. The Florida Keys are stunning!

Miami to Naples
Distance: 115 miles
Driving Time: 2 hours, 15 minutes
Naples is a wonderful place to escape to, when Miami’s intensity gets to be too much. There is a lot of luxury and spectacular sights to see in this part of the state. Excellent shopping and dining too!

Miami to Sarasota

There is no easy way to say this, but if you are driving to Tallahassee, you are going to be in the car close to eight hours. Great city, long way away!
